The following is an updated course outline for our upcoming three-day
workshop for museum staff involved in the development and management
of projects and activities involving contractors and consultants:

Wednesday, October 9     The Changing World of Work
What are the realities of the current work world?

Facilitator: Jay Stewart is a consultant and member of the British
Columbia Arts Council, with twenty years of experience in museum
management. She has engaged expert consultants and contractors for
projects ranging from special initiatives to major construction
projects. She will be joined by resource people in the legal and
accounting fields.
Dates:  October 9 - 11, 1996 Please register as soon as possible
Fee: $330 (non-credit only)
Accommodation: Available on-campus for $61.00 Canadian/night. Program
staff are pleased to provide information on off-campus alternatives.
