That's a tall order for a summer intern.  Good IPM depends on a continual feed-back loop to see what's needed and what's working.

The Bio-Integral Resource Center <http://www.birc.org> is a very good group with many resources.  Their userbase is mostly professional pest control folks.  I'm sure a couple of their publications will get you asking the right questions.
