Yup, I remember when I got paid $12,000 a year in L.A., fresh-faced with
an M.A.  We all understand that we must start at the bottom, and I think
that we all have worked our butts off.  But don't come to me with the
responsibility of coordinating, organizing and implementing a volunteer
program, at $7.25, and I'm supposed to do it part-time?  I don't think
that is realistic.  If you scale back the responsibilities, and just have
the person coordinate and follow up on volunteers being available, that'd
probably be about as much as you can do without spending the other 20
hours working at home thinking up of programming.
