The California Association of Museums (CAM) also offers scholarships to its
annual conference.  This year's conference is July 11-12, 1996 in Monterey,
CA.  Here's the information about applying:

Fine Arts Risk Management and Wells Fargo have generously sponsored
scholarships for the two emerging museum professionals who best fulfill the
following guidelines.  Scholarship includes two-day conference registration
and one night in the DoubleTree Hotel.  Applicant must 1) be a new
professional in the museum filed; no more than two years of professional
experience (students and interns may apply) 2) demonstrate that attending the
conference will assist in forwarding career goals 3) demonstrate financial
need.  Please submit letter of application which addresses these guidelines
