Hello All--

I have in my collection a ca. 1950s Western Electric Non-Sparking or 
Sealed telephone. It is a heavy, wall-mounted model with a circular body. 
I have tried without success to research this model on the internet, using 
both Webcrawler and Google search engines. In a conversation with a former 
NTS employee, I was told that this telephone was used at the Nevada Test 
Site in a high explosive facility (hence the need for a "non-sparking" 
telephone)during the 1950s atmospheric testing of atomic weapons. I would 
like to find some manufacturing history about this item to supplement the 
personal account that was related to me. Any suggestions?
