If your friend wrote to the company directly, they almost certainly would be

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Question on where to get information on a small coal
stove.

I have a friend who is trying to find out about a small coal stove that
she recently found at a second hand store.

It has this inscription on the top lid (very heavy) of the stove where
you drop the coal down into it.

Here is how it appears:

Lent Moyen Vif
No. 450
"Lily"
Deville & C.
Charleville

It is about 14 inches wide and 25 inches tall. I do have some photos if
someone wants me to send them as an attachment, just let me know.
Thanks for your help in this matter.
