The Minneapolis Institute of Arts
has the following position open. Please share this information with anyone
who may be interested. Thank you.

Curatorial Internship in the Department of African, Oceania, and the
Americas.
One year position available immediately. Intern will assist Curator and
Assistant Curator in the research and interpretation of the museum's African
art collection, and in the preparation of exhibitions and public programs
derived from or related to the African Art collection. A portion of the work
assigned may also relate to the art of the Americas and Oceania. Intern will
also participate in departmental meetings and activities.

Requirements: B.A. with course work in African Art or Anthropology.
Selection will be based on proof of academic acheivement and assessment of
the candidate's potential to gain from practical experience in the museum
context and ultimately contribute to the museum profession. Verbal and
written communications and computer skills are also required.

Salary $18,000 plus benefits.
