Library catalogers are still struggling to develop consensus on a
format for citations to the electronic literature. For a starting place,
see The Chicago Manual of Style, 14th ed., Chicago: U. Chicago Press
(1993), item 15.424 (pp. 633-634). They recommend contacting the
international standards organization (ISO) Secretariat: Office of Library
Standards, National Library of Canada, Ottawa, K1A ON4 re standard ISO
TC46/SC 9. These citations are very complicated, and any number of
groups are working to develop conventions; the Chicago Manual of Style
section gives several examples, and should allow readers to track your
references. When in doubt, provide more, not less information.
