dynamic leader for its new 50,000 sq ft. facility, The Journey, opening
May, 1997.  The Journey combines collections from SD School of Mines'
Museum of Geology; SD's Archaeological Research Center; U.S. Department of
the Interior, Indian Arts and Crafts Boards, Sioux Indian Museum;
Minnilusa Pioneer Museum and the Duhamel Collection into a time-line,
interactive, immersive exhibit.  Master's Degree preferred, 5 years of
experience in successful museum leadership, an entrepreneurial spirit, a
proven track record in fundraising, promotion, financial management,
community relations, marketing and annual budgeting and planning,
