As a note of general information, the ultimate authority on
museum fire protection is probably the National Fire
Protection Association's (NFPA) publication NFPA 911:
_Protection of Museums and Museum Collections 1991_.
This is also an ANSI standard.
NFPA has a WEB Home Page - http://www.wpi.edu/Acade.../Nfpa_home.html
It is said there that they may be contacted at [log in to unmask]

Their address is 1 Batterymarch Park, Quincy, MA 02269-9101,
(617) 770-3000, FAX (617) 770-0700

I hope this will cure my previous vagueness on this matter.
