Glenn,

I'm not trying to make a definitive correlation between NCLB and
decreases in visitation. I apologize if I gave that impression.

What I'm trying to do - or hoping someone else has already done - is to
get a quantitative sense for HOW MUCH the numbers have changed - by
museum type, by region, etc. That gives us some meat for self-analysis.
Have our numbers gone down less than the average? That's great to be
able to tell concerned trustees. More than the average decrease? Hmmm,
what's going on here?

Thanks,

Mari

p.s. Further number crunching has revealed that our tour numbers have
actually stayed fairly stable over the past six years.
