Hi Colleen,

If you are interested in a list of all the Canadian programmes, you can
contact the Canadian Museum Association. They produce a booklet listing all
the programmes and courses in Canada.

In the Ottawa area, there is one programme. Algonquin College offers a
diploma in Museum Tech. It is a 3 year programme.

If you are willing to go 3 hours out of Ottawa, Sir Sanford Flemming College
offers a 12 month post-graduate diploma in Museum Management and
Curatorship. I am a graduate of this programme. They offer courses in all
aspects of museum work, training you to be able to fill almost any position
in a small to medium size museum.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions about that particular
programme.
