Rhonda,

I send all of my messages from museum-l into a folder like you are
trying to do. I filter by "sent to" rather than "from." This works, at
least in Microsoft Outlook, because all of the messages are being sent
to Museum-L rather than personally to me.

Don't know whether you've thought about trying it that way, but maybe
this will solve your problem. If not, does museum-l still have a digest
option? It's been so long since I've taken my messages that way, that
I'm not sure whether it's still available, but that would allow you to
get all the e-mails lumped into one or two long e-mails a day instead.

Katherine

Subject: Re: Position Opening at The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Please, please have pity and kindly help me find a way to filter my
messages through the options in Hotmail. This is my regular account,
and the only one I am able to access long-distance. I deeply appreciate
receiving the messages, but to have them dropping into my In-box is
causing problems with time and mail management. Meaning that urgent
messages are getting lost in the thick of the others. I have tried to
filter and direct all museum-L messages into a folder automatically, but
because the addresses of the senders vary, it has not worked so far ....

(heavy sigh)

Help!
