Dear Tim,

We also have off-site storage that is far from ideal. We have had success
using PermaBag to create micro-climates. It's essentially a large zippered
storage bag that comes with a stainless steel canister of desiccant and a
digital thermo-hygrometer. There is a little window for the hygrometer that
you can see without opening the bag. They come in various sizes - large
enough for furniture and automobiles.
We ordered ours through Preservation Equipment Ltd.

Sincerely,
