Below is the listing for a new position at the Higgins Armory Museum in
Worcester, Massachusetts. Please pass it on to anyone you think might be

The Higgins Armory Museum, one of the premier collections of arms and
armor in the world, seeks a Program and Outreach Manager. Responsibilities
include: recruitment, training, and management of Gallery Interpreters;
maintaining scripts and content files for all Education Department
programs including Outreaches; overseeing reproduction armor collection
and the hands-on Quest Gallery; developing and presenting internal and
external programs; overseeing daily activities of Department.
Skills/experience: B.A. with content knowledge relevant to collections;
management and office administration; public speaking and/or historical
reenactment; excellent written and oral communication skills; object-based
teaching in a museum setting. Proficiency in Spanish a plus. Driver’s
license, reliable transportation, ability to lift 75 lbs. Full time (35
hours), Tuesday – Saturday; competitive salary and benefits package.
