The Shock of The View, Object Section 2 is now on-line at
http://www.walkerart.org/salons/shockoftheview/object/.

Featured in this second exhibition on The Object is a curatorial essay by
Jennifer Hughes (Davis Museum and Cultural Center, Wellesley College) on
the 19th century landscape painting by John Frederick Kensett, "Mount
Washington from the Valley of Conway" and a curatorial essay by Peter
Walsh (Davis Museum and Cultural Center,Wellesley College) discussing the
Resort Ski Network's "View of the Mountains from Cyberspace".

In addition there are responses by Natalie Bookchin , Alex Galloway, and
Sara Tucker. Natalie's response is in the form of a questionnaire, so if
there are people out there who have wanted to express an opinion but have
not wanted to post (yet), here is a chance!

We encourage you to view these pieces share your comments on the Shock of
The View list.
