The following is from an article that has just been posted in the Atlanta 
Journal Constitution:

In addition, senators did not go along with major cuts in the funding for the 
state's music and sports halls of fame in Macon. In fact, the Senate gave the 
Music Hall of Fame a 20 percent increase in funding.

House leaders hope the facilities will eventually become self-sustaining. 
However, central Georgia senators sit on the Senate Appropriations Committee 
and have backed increased funding.
