Dear Chris,
We have produced and printed a small brochure entitled "Donations" that
spells out our policy on donations, why things are not on exhibit at all
times, why we hold items for research, why we collect, what we collect,
etc. We hand one of these to potential donors to the collection as well as
to anyone who may ask for something back. It has really cut down on these
sorts of problems for us and was well worth doing. If you would like me
to send you a copy, please contact me off list.
Sincerely,
Dave Ryan
