The Nebraska State Historical Society did a study in 2011 and
published the report "Heritage Tourism in Nebraska" in 2011 or 2012.
I went to a session at MPMA in 2012 where it was presented. They did
the study specifically to look at how museums and historic sites
drive tourism and travel. As I recall they excluded things like state
parks, amusement parks, etc.

Don't have my notes handy so can't tell you the name of the gentleman
who did the presentation.

A caption in the booklet says, "For the complete text of the Nebraska
Heritage Tourism Plan, visit the website: www.nebraskahistory.org
Search "Heritage Tourism."
