COMMUNITY NETWORKING 1996 ~ "BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER"

                URL http://laplaza.taos.nm.us/comnet96.html

MAY 14th-17th, TAOS, NEW MEXICO
_______________________________
In the spirit of "Ties That Bind" conferences, the third annual Community
Networking conference provides the practical applications required to
build and maintain a community-based network. "Bringing People Together"
is the forum were the foremost leaders in community networking will share
their "how to" experiences in: defining organizational structures,
sustainability, establishing partnerships, determining software/hardware
requirements, and getting schools online just to name a few. Experts
from education, government, business, publishing, technology, library,
and healthcare arenas will share information through workshops, formal
presentations, panel discussion groups and informal gatherings.

Over the past few years we have discovered the power of community
networks. This year we will focus on the issues required to implement
one. By bringing people together, in 1996, we can make it happen!
