This is from "The Museum Environment" by Garry Thomson:

Recommended Maximum Illuminances

200 lux- oil and tempera paintings, undyed leather, horn, bone, ivory, oriental lacquer
50 lux - objects sensitive to light, such as textiles, costumes, watercolours, tapestries, prints and drawings, manuscripts, miniatures, paintings in distemper media, wallpapers, gouache, dyed leather.  Most natural history exhibits, including botanical specimens, fur and feathers

UV Radiation

If a light source emits more than about 75 uW/lm (Microwatts per lumen) it requires a UV absorbing filter
