As a historic house museum administrator and museum studies student, I
am excited to share the focus of my research with you. My graduate
thesis will address historic house museums, and their fundraising needs.
You may well be familiar with the trials of trying to raise funds in
institutions with small staffs and limited resources. I hope to bring
new information to light in this paper, to help support historic houses
in fulfilling their missions.

Those of who work at historic houses can aid this process, if you would
be so kind as to fill out a simple questionnaire. It can be handled
either in hard-copy or e-mail form.

I thank you in advance for you cooperation.
              Yours, Juanita Carroll
