Is this of interest to all 1500 of us(isn't that how many are subsribed to
museum-l)?  Are we now going to start exchanging notes on the virtues of
being a grandparent?

Congratualations!  I have 6 grandchildren ranging in age from 2 to 13 and
believe me, grandchildren are definately more fun than children!

Go see that new baby as soon as possible and don't let anything get in the
way.  Because of work and other family obligations, my husband and I have
yet to see our 2 year old granddaughter who lives in New York.
