Kyle,

One of the best internship listings I know of is at PreserveNet,
maintained by Cornell. Be sure to check the regular listings as well as
the National Council for Preservation Education (NCPE) listings. The
listings are slanted more towards preservation, but with your degree you
might find a nice fit. I noticed that the application date for the NCPE
listings has passed, but if you find one that interests you, try
contacting the agency directly. I completed an internship through this
program after undergrad and it was a great experience.

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Internship Opportunities in Chicagoland

Hello all,

I am currently completing my master's work in Public History and Museum
Studies at the University of Illinois and am seeking a
professionally-focused internship (preferably paid) for the summer of
2009, which, hopefully, will lead to an entry-level position in the
field that I love! My background is primarily in education, though I
have experience in program development, archiving, exhibit
design/installation, and grant writing.

Any information would be great!

Best,
Kyle N. Sater
