Dear Colleagues -

Hello! At The Smart Museum, we are looking into copy protection
mechanisms (such as digital watermarks) for the digital images found on
our website, both on the various web pages and as part of our searchable
on-line collection database (http://smartmuseum.uchicago.edu).

If anyone out there handles this for their museum's website, I'd be very
appreciative if you could describe what protection mechanisms, if any, you
use - how time-consuming is it to do this, is there a cost involved
(purchasing software or something), any pros or cons you can share, etc.

Thank you very much in advance for any information you can provide!

- Jennifer Widman
