Here's another piece of information against which to factor whether
the job posted is economically fair.

Last Friday, I registered my 4-year old 95 Pontiac Grand Am and paid
for the tags. My ex-beau in FL was aghast when he compared his $30
registration fee against what he might be expected to pay in CA. I
paid $228 for a one-year registration. I also had to show proof
insurance. A good driver, with no tickets, and 45 years of age, I pay
$80 something a month.

When I was paying my son's insurance (under 25, male), it was over
$200 a month. That's a $2,400 bite a year out of that base salary.
