The Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, Canada mounted an exhibit in 1990
entitled "Into the Heart of Africa" that caused some controversy.
There is an article by Eve Mackey in "Public Culture" that can be found at
http://www.uchicago.edu/research/jnl-pub-cult/backissues/pc16/mackey.html
In Google, search for "Royal Ontario Museum Africa controversy" to find more
links.
