 Full-time, year-round, benefits-eligible position available at The
Peary-MacMillan
Arctic Museum, Bowdoin College. Occasional evening and weekend work
required. This individual runs the Arctic Museum reception desk and
shop; serves as a secretary to the Curator and Exhibits Coordinator; in
consultation with the Curator runs the School Tours Program scheduling
tours, working with volunteers, and supervising student workers; in
consultation with the Director coordinates publicity and outreach
programs. Works independently and with students and staff on specific
projects.

 Requirements: Some college courses, B.A. preferred; strong verbal and
written communication skills and computer skills; three years of related
experience as receptionist, secretary, shop manager, or educator.
Experience in academic or museum setting highly desirable.
