The New York Hall of Science -- a leading hands-on science museum located in
Queens in New York City -- is hiring a full-time Museum Liaison/Development
Associate.  The Executive Director of the Hall, Dr. Alan Friedman, will be
Chairman of the New York City Cultural Institutions Group beginning in July,
1999.  The person we are seeking will spend 1/2 time coordinating the
business of the CIG (meetings, minutes, mailings, phone contact).  In the
remaining 1/2 time this person will work in the Planning and Development
office supporting the growth of a business membership and sponsorship
program.

We are looking for someone with two years of experience in marketing,
communications, or development.  Excellent communications skills, both
written and oral, and excellent attention to detail and follow up.

The position offers excellent benefits and reasonable pay.  The New York
