AUTOPOESIS was stirring!
I won't do an archeology of knowledge Foucault rap, tho tempted...
Of course Musuems have an history... mostly a coursing of the
power elites and the shaping of social constructions of reality--
across all disciple-plines. It's fun, if a bit too au cour, to
pratice a tad of self-flexivity in Musuems presenting THEMSELVES and
their histories as cultural iconog.
 
Still, too, there's a resonance of BOTH mystical numinosity [sic]
and quasi-radical rebellion against the status quo, while
reaffirming...think Notre Dame, and the Masonic lights of
Chartres
 
Or naybe I'm overtired from writing grants to try and actually
pay the Curate-ors,
