NELSON-ATKINS MUSEUM OF ART
KANSAS CITY, MO

JOB TITLE:  ASSISTANT PREPARATOR/INSTALLATION

JOB DUTIES:  To assist in the transportation, installation and
deinstallation of art objects.  Will also work closely with other
departments to solve problems involved in the installation, production
and maintenance of museum exhibitions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree or a degree in art
history or other related field is preferred.  Must have mechanical
skill, good dexterity and be conscious of safety issues.  Must have good
organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and
competing projects to meet established deadlines.  Must be able to
interact with internal staff as well as with visiting public in a polite
and courteous manner.
