Dear Friends, Several people have asked for more info about the Water Works
Conservancy, Inc. and the Historic Hackensack Water Company site. If you
want to read and/or see more about the Hackensack Water Co. site, you may
also visit our website which is coming fast, but still somewhat under
construction - what we are missing are a lotof the visuals...which are just
beginning to go on. But there is a lot of
info there, and a map of the island: Http://www.HWWC.org
Even quicker, to "see" what all the fuss in about, go to

http://abandonednj.com:8080/expeditions/oww/oww.html

and click on any of the fine, color pictures.
Best,
Maggie Harrer
