I agree wholeheartedly with the consistency comment.  I won't say much more
than has been said, but I've found it's hard to train most people to
catalog.
For example, terms for different colors.  One woman's pink is another
woman's red...I believe I almost need some sort of color chart with standard
terms.
And objectivity...I loved the old catalog sheets from a previous position
that began "A beautiful pink (I though it was red) plaid dress..."
