How to Manage Multiple Job Priorities
One-Day Workshop;Friday, May 3, 1996; 9am - 4pm; to be held preceeding the
AAM Annual meeting in Minneapolis, MN.
In today's increasingly competitive environment and generally reduced
funding, museum professionals must effectively manage a multitude of
responsibilities. A museum's success is dependent upon the staff's skill and
ability to plan.
This workshop will combine presentations, group discussions, questions and
answers, and development of a plan outline. Sponsored by the AAM Curators
Committee and Heritage Communications of Brentwood, TN, the goals of the
workshop are for participants to be inspired by new ideas, stimulated by
success stories, and motivated to use new planning tools. The workshop
format will be active, involving, and creative in its approach.
