Job Title: Coordinator of the Baltimore Museum of Industry Center for Career
and Technology Education
 
 The Baltimore Museum of Industry Center for Career and Technology Education
will open in the Spring 1995 asa metropolitan Baltimore center to meet the
certification and recertification requirements of maryland Career and
Technology Educators.  The Center will offer graduate and undergraduate
courses in the career and technology field and will provide integrated
instruction through laboratory experiences and distance learning
opportunities.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION
*Coordinate work of the Center for the Baltimore MUseum of Industry
*Teach undergraduate and graduate courses
*Interface with business and industry and educators
*Write and administer grants
*Coordinate certification issues with the MAryland State Department of
Education
*Coordinate with the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore
*Work with Museum staff and participating agencies to set u[ laboratory
modules
*Coordinate work with BMI staff
 
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
*Knowledge of educational and instructional processes
*Previous teaching experience at the high school, community college, or
college level
*Knowledge of current issues and trends in Career and Technology Education
and Technology Education
*Previous experience in organizing conferences and/or workshop activities
*Previous administrative experience
*Posseses demonstrated organizational skill
*Experienced in computer skills, preferably in advanced graphics and page
layout
*Experienced in working with educators and business and industry
 
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors with Masters Degree preferred and strong background in Career and
Technology Education.
 
Salary is contingent upon experience up to $30,000 per year.
