Hello all,
     I want to thank you for all the helpful information and some great advice I have received after posting a thread titled "Hello Everyone" as I introduced myself here and explained my job search plans.  I have developed nascent professional networks for Boston and Minneapolis with the plans to make another one when I come down to D.C. next week.  I have emailed two fo my friends for a place to stay.  No replies yet but I expect them to reply. Backpackers hostel is my backup plan.  Any other suggestions on starting and expanding professional network for any place?  Since I will be down in D.C., can anyone here express an interest in meeting me for a lunch or coffee. Perhaps a tour of your museum?  I already have two set up and don't mind getting more.  At this time of writing, I will continue to apply for job openings and internships. Thanks again!
