Shana asks a very good question about food service in galleries vis a vis
visitor comfort.

Galleries are not the space for food service. Cafes or cafe areas (food
carts) should be always delineated from exhibition areas.

Sorry if my discussion caused this concern, but I feel that all such visitor
courtesies be held in proper areas which do not endanger objects. Think
about the cafe at the Nat. Gal. of Art (DC) in old bldg. Central, visible
and accessible, but not in the exhibition design.

Hopes this clarifies this thread of the discussion.
