Allie. references to certain basic aspects of an exhibit's content can be useful. But keep in mind that each exhibit, whether a collection presentation or a special exhibition, will often benefit from its own particular 'approach'. Don't be too 'locked in' to a process, without considering the ways a particular exhibit, and its audiences, might benefit from, and be drawn to and interact with, an exhibit's own particular presentation parameters. Also, keep in mind that more 'permanent' collection exhibits can benefit from being re-done, and that the use of certain established 'parameters' may inhibit the institution's and the public's impression of a display being refreshed and made more up-to-date with new information, a new approach, etc.
