Museum Education Interns
The Museum of Jewish Heritage- A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, NYC,
seeks college and graduate students from the Northeast to participate in
the semester-long Lipper Internship Program. The Museum educates visitors
of all ages and backgrounds about Jewish life in the 20th century and
during the Holocaust. Interns will participate in an intensive ten-day
training course in NYC, to be held August 19-30, 2001. Upon completion of
training, interns return to their university communities to educate middle
and high school students using classroom visits and trips to the Museum
during the fall 2001 semester. Excellent communication skills required,
stipend and transportation costs provided. Call 212-968-1800 x 134 for
information and applications. Applications due April 1, 2001. E.O.E.
