I am forwarding the message below for a co-worker who is not on museum-l.
You may respond directly to him or to me and I will forward your message
to him. This message has also been posted to arch-l. Feel free to pass
it on to any other lists you feel would be interested.
These trays are generally in good condition and free so if you can get
to Washington, DC to pick them up you should consider this offer.

Subject: wooden trays

The Anthropology Department at the National Museum of Natural
History has been moving its archeology collections to a new storage
facility since January, 1994. The rehousing of the collections has left
thousands of wooden "subunit" trays unneeded. The trays measure
24x18x1.5 inches and are very useful for many archeology related tasks.
Anyone interested in these trays can contact me at [log in to unmask]
The only stipulation is that you must come to the museum to pick them
up.
