DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

The Wagner Free Institute of Science seeks an experienced fundraiser to
head development activities and public relations.  Founded in 1855, the
Institute is a natural history museum and educational institution which is
dedicated to providing free public education in science.  It occupies its
original 19th century building which was designated a National Historic
Landmark in 1990.

Applicants should have at least five years experience in non-profit
development, including writing and preparing grant proposals and
individual giving.  Must have excellent written and
verbal communications skills.  Excellent benefit package.  EOE.
