I'd like to echo Deb's comments that this thread is not appropriate for a Museum discussion list that enjoys International subscription.  Please, American cousins, exercise your franchise if you are able to do so, but please, keep the traffic on this list museum-related.

I don't recall any mention of Canada's recent federal election on this list, nor discussion of elections in any number of other democracies around the world.  Let's keep it that way.

Dearest members, please let us remember that this is an INTERNATIONAL
list, and to my knowledge, only one country is holding elections
today. While voting is an important right for anyone regardless of
nationality or location, I think it is extrememly off-topic for this
list and urge people to save their encouragement to vote for more
relevant venues of discussion.
