Hi all,

We recently contracted with a company to convert some
microfilm records to CDs.  They will also need to be
indexed.  The company quoted us at 25 cents a
KEYSTROKE -- it would cost $2.00 just to type my first
name!  We obviously decided the indexing would make an
excellent internship project instead.

I thought that rate was a bit steep -- they said it
could be upwards of $10,000 for the entire project.
So out of curiosity, I thought I would ask all of you
what kind of rates you have seen for this service.
