In accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 44, Section 53G and Chapter 30B, The Hanover Historical Society of the Town of Hanover, MA is soliciting proposals for Professional Conservation Services for the conservation of 2 Dahlgren cannons.  Proposals must be received by the historical society at their P.O. Box 156, Hanover, MA 022339, or via [log in to unmask], by Monday May 1, 2012 at 9:00 p.m.  Copies of the full Request for Proposals may be obtained from Richard Rockwell, Collections Committee chair, via the above email, or by calling (617) 633-5174.

Proposals will be publicly opened at 7:00 p.m. On Tuesday May 8, 2012 by the Hanover Historical Society at the Stetson House, 514 Hanover Street, Hanover, MA 02339.  One contract will be awarded for the entire scope of work.

The selected proposer(s) shall be determined by the Hanover Historical Society.  Said Society is expected to award a contract on or before May 12, 2012.  The Hanover Historical Society reserves the right to withdraw the Request for Proposal; to reject any and all proposals; and to accept any proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the Society.
