1. cf. Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Boston, for their etching collection,
on a set of pull-out vertical panels in a hallway. (Or are they hinged?)

2. Many years ago, New York sculptor and lighting designer Bernard
Kirschenbaum designed and had constructed a set of huge pull-out walls for Max
Hutchinson's gallery in Soho. A switch was tripped as the walls moved into the
viewing space, turning on a set of lights to illuminate the paintings on the
walls.
