I was glad to see the subject of GPS units come up.  I expect to start
using one next field season and I'm wondering if it would be preferable to
use latitude and longitude or the Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM)
grid system when recording locations.  I would be using it for botanical
collections in case that would make any difference (maybe botanists look
at things differently?).
Would appreciate your thoughts and opinions...
