CONFERENCE MANAGER

Southern performing Arts organization seeks Conference
Manager to organize logistics, budget, and marketing of
Southern performing arts conference designed to bring
together presenters, artists, and artist's managers to
foster excellence in the presenting and touring of
performing arts throughout the region.  The Conference
Manager will also be responsible for yearly updates and
recommendations based on market research, and for
developing and maintaining a Worldwide Web presence.

Qualifications:

Minimum five years professional experience in profit
or nonprofit management working in the performing,
presenting or local arts field; public sector
experience a plus.  Excellent leadership abilities
and demonstrated entrepreneurial skills essential.
Effective oral and written communication skills
required.

Salary: $40-45,000+benefits.

EXHIBITION DESIGNER

Major New York City Museum seeks Exhibition Designer
to work with the Chief Designer developing exhibition
concepts, preparing sketches and presentation drawings,
constructing exhibition models for review, coordinating
fabrication with model makers, and preparing final
construction drawings, floor plans, and detail drawings
either for internal museum construction or as bid
documents for outside construction.  The Exhibition
Designer may also be asked to work with co-designers
on projects or special exhibitions.

Qualifications:

Five years experience in exhibition design field required
(Exhibition Designers need only apply).  Candidate must be
experienced, organized, and professional.  Good communication
skills required.

Knowledge of materials, construction, fabrication, and project
management necessary.  Drafting, CAD, and computer skills needed.
Computer applications - Mini CAD and QuarkXpress on a MacIntosh.

Some art handling experience a plus.

Salary: $45,000.

LICENSED ARCHITECT

NYC architecture firm seeks Licensed Architect to draft and
produce Building Department approved projects.  This position
requires a knowledge of building codes and city zoning
requirements as well as heavy contact with clients and city
agencies.  Experience hand drafting and CAD essential.

experience in program development, administration and
staff supervision.  Responsible for educational programs

is responsible for maintaining the smooth flow of communication
between the Director and the Board of Trustees, Associate
Director, and Deputy Directors.

Qualifications:

Three years of executive secretarial experience required.

skills essential.  The ability to interact with museum
professionals, governmental officials, scholars, patrons,
trustees, media representatives, supporters and visitors

required.
