Greetings All,
I just graduated from college with a B.A. in Philosophy and minors in Art
History and English, and I'm looking for an art-museum related job. I'm in
a position where I might be interviewing soon, both with major-city art
museums as well as smaller non-profits. Can anybody give me an idea of what
a starting salary might be for these kinds of jobs so that I'll have a good
point of reference?

Also, one job I'm interested in has the title "Exhibitions Coordinator," but
a description has not been written yet. I'm told that even with no museum
experience, it's something I'll have a shot at. It's for a small-but-rich
museum collection. Can anybody tell me what kinds of duties this might
entail, or what kinds of qualities and experience you would want in an
"exhibitions coordinator" ?

Thanks very much!
Laura Browning
