Hi Stephanie, 
I work in traveling exhibits and we need to protect all kinds of graphics. For puzzles we attach the graphic to plexi usually by rivets or small screws so we can replace the plexi once it gets too scratched to see through. In our case plexi is cheaper to replace than graphics.
