Hi Linda,

The Connecticut State Library<http://www.cslib.org/> in conjunction with the Mattatuck Museum<http://www.mattatuckmuseum.org/> just opened Art for Everyone: The Federal Art Project in Connecticut <http://www.mattatuckmuseum.org/changing> . Last summer we also collaborated with Hartford History Center<http://hhc.hplct.org/> at Hartford Public Library, Connecticut Explored<http://connecticutexplored.org/> and the Connecticut Historical Society<http://www.chs.org/> to create an exhibit called "There's a Map for That!

Last but not least, we also have a yearly Connecticut Forum on Digital Initiatives<http://ctdigital.drupalgardens.com/>, that brings together libraries, archives and museums to talk about our common goals and how we can collaborate to better highlight our collections and strengths. It isn't open to the public and there is no exhibit, but it has been an incredibly successful way to get these different communities talking and to find new ways of working together.

Best,

Christine

Hello Colleagues:

For an IMLS supported planning project of the Museum Association of New York, Museumwise and the New York Library Association, I'm seeking examples of museum/library collaborations framed around public programs and exhibitions. If you have projects to share, please do--you can contact me off list at the email below.

Thanks so much for your help!

Linda
